World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it gains an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. Some upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional attributes. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon level.
When the weapon reaches its maximum level of improvement, it can then be rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can be applied simultaneously and the effects depend on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage a weapon can cause.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly relevant for enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the base stats of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. This can be done for any type of armor, but some items cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, some upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can prove beneficial in combat. For instance, they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple tries. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to what many believe it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain types of builds. There are also ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
By placing a potion on a stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and can be repeated for more potencies.
The potions also get the ability to select a custom color that can be chosen by the player via the /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed by using Dragon breath or splash potions. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket can be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or even a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It could also refer to an gilded trinket fixed to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At upgrade item makes all types of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to generate grass and water. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or other items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards rooms.
While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and gives you the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will create a random effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always have the same effect.
You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
